home away from home is waiting for you at Four Winds Cottage Resort!
We offer one and two bedroom standard cottages or one and two bedroom deluxe cottagess. All of our cottages have three piece bathrooms and come with fully equipped kitchens which include:

- Microwave
- Toaster
- Coffee Maker
- Pots & Pans
- Dishes and Glasses
- Cutlery and Utensils
as well as:
- Broom
- Dustpan
- Toilet Brush
- Garbage Pail
Outside the cottages you will find:

- Gas BBQ
All you need to bring with you are towels, linens, toiletries, food and beverages!
CANOES, PADDLE BOATS and POWER BOATS
Four Winds Cottage resort also has two canoes and two paddle boats
available for use, free with cottage rental, on a first come basis. In addition
to the canoes and paddle boats we also have two 14 foot aluminum boats
with 9.9 hp motors available for rent.
ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA
The nearby town of Parry Sound offers visitors to the area a wide variety of activities and attractions. Some of the many options in the surrounding area are:
- There are a number of options for summer sightseeing cruises in the area. The Georgian Bay Cruise Company, Inc.
offers a number of cruise options aboard the M.V. Chippewa III, an historic 65 ft Georgian Bay Tug. The 30,000 Island Cruise Line, Inc. also provides a scenic three-hour cruise aboard the 550-passenger, 132 ft Island Queen, Canada's largest sightseeing cruise ship. Further a field there are also the 104 ft Lady Muskoka in Bracebridge, offering a variety of cruise options on Lake Muskoka, and Georgian Bay Cruise Company, Inc. also offers cruises aboard the 100 ft Chief Commanda II, a 320-passenger twin-hull vessel, on Lake Nipissing, out of North Bay.
- There are a number of great options in the area for the avid golfer. Deer Run Golf Course offers
18 holes of golf and is located 10 km east of Parry Sound on McDougal Road(approx. 10 km from resort). The Parry Sound Golf & Country Club also offers a challenging course and is located 5 km north of Parry Sound on George Hunt Memorial Drive(approx. 20 km from resort). The Seguin Valley Golf & Country Club, located 10 km south of Parry Sound off highway 400 (approx. 25 km from resort), is a unique public 18 hole championship course.
- See the 30,000 islands by floatplane! Georgian Bay Airways, Ltd. offers a number of sightseeing tour options during the summer months.
- Take the family to see Santa... located less than 90 minutes away, Santa's Village & Sportsland has something for the whole family.

- The 480-seat Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts provides a variety of entertainments year round, ranging from plays to concerts, including one of Canada's premier music festivals,
the Festival of Sound.
- Also part of the Stockey Centre is the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame where you can view memorabilia from Bobby Orr's outstanding career and play some great interactive games!
- Central Helicopters, Inc. offers a variety of thrilling helicopter sight-seeing tours year round, including spectacular fall colour tours.

Experience the excitement of a guided ATV adventure with Bear Claw Tours, Inc. No experience necessary, they will provide the ATV and training, or bring your own 4x4 ATV, and experience their trails.
- "Visit our Ghosts and drift into the past" through a number of exhibits at the West Parry Sound District Museum.
- Visit the Station Gallery, located in the historic 1908 Parry Sound CP Rail station, and view exhibits and events throughout the year.

- Enjoy an evening out with 5 pin bowling, at the Georgian Lanes bowling alley in Parry Sound, with a licensed sports lounge and featuring Disco Bowling (Lights & Music).
- Come and fish! Manitouwabing lake features a large number of fish species. Pickerel and bass are both native to the lake, and pike provide excellent angling since their recent entry into the lake. Other fish species in the lake include yellow perch, lake whitefish, lake herring, white sucker, rock bass, sunfish, brown bullhead, creek chub, bluntnose minnows, blacknose dace, and carp.
